Dragon's Dogma Online

Remember Dragon’s Dogma Online, Capcom’s MMORPG version of its action RPG series? It released in the end of August for Japan and within just 10 days, it’s managed to hit one million downloads on PS3, PS4 and PC with 370,000 characters having been created as of September 9th.

The online title is free to play but supports optional subscriptions, much like The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited. There’s also an intriguing “three days adventure pass” initiative (as per DualShockers) which allows players to try a paid subscription option for 72 hours absolutely free. Dragon’s Dogma Online created quite the buzz when it was first announced for its large scale worlds and consistent content updates that Capcom promised. It’s currently only available in Japan but one has to wonder if this strong reception in Japan could lead to a Western launch.
