Since Destiny: The Taken King has launched, there has been a lot of talk about the number of new weapons you can get throughout the game. One of the really cool new features of the game is that not only can you soup up your weapons, but the gunsmith can be souped up as well. You can also raise your reputation with Banshee 44 and test out new weapons every week and this in turn will allow you to eventually gain ownership of more powerful weapons for your missions.

If you’re someone who is looking to really ramp up your weapons ownership, Gameskinny has the full process you would go through in order to get as many of the really exotic and legendary weapons you’ve always wanted your guardian to have. The key to getting started is to get a rank of one with the gunsmith. Once you get this rank, you’ll be able to start placing foundry orders and get moving right along towards level 2.

Once you hit the Rank 2 with the gunsmith, you’ll be able to start getting some legendary weapons if you’re able to complete the quests that Banshee-44 gives you. Whatever legendary weapon you get will be determined by which class your guardian is. Once you have completed this quest, you’ll be able to turn it in, and start heading to Rank 3. Once you hit this rank, you’ll be able to qualify for a new Exotic weapon. The gunsmith taking a more active role in your development is just one of the really neat things that changed in Destiny with the Taken King.
