If you’re a hardcore Star Wars fan whose passion for the franchise hasn’t been killed by terrible games or awful prequel movies, you’ll appreciate the latest commercial for Star Wars: Battlefront. Meant to promote the Star Wars Battlefront PS4 bundle, the commercial contains some awesome live-action footage mixed with CGI. It just may bring a tear to your eye.

Developed by DICE, Star Wars: Battlefront is a multiplayer-only title that pits Rebels against Imperial soldiers in a variety of battles based on the popular franchise. The recent beta saw Walker Assault take place on Hoth with teams of 20 facing off against each other and it’s been praised for capturing the flavour of Star Wars with its depiction and atmosphere (gameplay concerns and balance aside).

Star Wars: Battlefront is out on November 17th in North America and November 20th in Europe for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the live-action commercial? Let us know in the comments below.
