Hold off on playing the Nightfall until then.

Destiny The Taken King

Following complaints about the lackluster rewards in Destiny’s Nightfall strikes, Bungie’s Luke Smith announced last week that the developer would be looking into improving the same. In a new tweet, the developer announced that a patch would be deployed to buff the rewards at 10 AM PST today. You can’t say they haven’t followed up quickly.

According to the tweet, “Improvements to Nightfall rewards are coming tomorrow morning. To benefit this week, don’t play it until the patch deploys at around 10AM.”

The Nightfall occurs with the Weekly Reset which happens every Tuesday at 2 AM PST. With the patch deploying at 10 AM PST, it will make sense to hold off and play it later, thus ensuring you benefit from the increased rewards (if they actually happen, that is). In the meantime, go raiding on all three of your characters or something.
