Final Fantasy 15 Developers Say Addition Of Moogles Won’t Impact Timetable

Square Enix is handling this the right way.

Last week, Square Enix ran a poll on their Twitter account that asked whether or not fans of Final Fantasy 15 wanted the addition of Moogles into this new game. That poll came back overwhelmingly yes though now there are some people who are worried as to whether or not this addition is going just slow down development even more. Now the company is making sure people understand it would not delay development, or take something out in order to fit the Moogles in.

Game Director Hajime Tabata used the game’s official Twitter account to make sure people understood the plans moving forward. “Importantly, at this stage of development I will not be making a trade off with the other work remaining in order to fit them in. So it won’t be a very chatty Moogle, but will be done with a suitably light level of development work as a fun little extra.” This should make fans of the game who are incredibly anxious to see the final product happy.

There’s nothing more annoying than having to wait a little longer for a game you’re excited about because they add some little thing that doesn’t mean all that much to everybody. There are certainly some people who are quite happy about having Moogles in the game but Square Enix clearly knows that people aren’t going to be waiting just because of this fun little addition. At the same time, it appears there will be one more cool little feature to enjoy when Final Fantasy 15 does finally launch.
