Two of Quantic Dreams’ most recent games, Beyond: Two Souls and Heavy Rain were announced as coming to the PS4 back in June. Now we finally have some release dates. The company announced that Beyond Two Souls is headed to the current generation console on November 24 for $29.99. The company also said that people will be able to play Heavy Rain on the PS4 starting in March of 2016.
Sony announced the two release dates on its official webpage, as well as the official description of the game for those who didn’t get to play it on the PS3. “Players will have another chance to experience the story of Jodie Holmes (played, excellently, by Ellen Page), a young woman who possesses supernatural powers through her psychic link to an invisible entity. Holmes’ journey is intertwined with the complex Dr. Dawkins (brought to life by the inimitable Willem Dafoe), on PS4.”
Among the new features being brought to this version of the game is better immersion thanks to the better connectivity offered by the PS4 DualShock controller. The company also said that once you have completed Beyond: Two Souls, you will be able to replay the game in chronological order, which was apparently a feature Quantic Dreams was asked about often from people who played the title on the PS3. The game will also be coming complete with the “Enhanced Experiments” DLC that was offered as an extra on the PS3. Beyond: Two Souls is due out on the PS4 on November 24 and Heavy Rain comes on March 1, Quantic Dream has said those who buy Beyond digitally will be able to download Heavy Rain for a discount.
