Destiny: Bungie To Show A Preview of February Update, Says There is More To Come

Bungies teases new update.

Destiny developer, Bungie has announced the month when people can start expecting to see a major update to the game. Turns out we’ll be waiting until February. That doesn’t mean every single addition to the game will be delivered next month. In fact, we just got a New Year’s gift from the developers though it wasn’t exactly a huge update.

The company also announced it was going to be bringing back the weekly updates to the game on January 21 though these would also not be hugely substantive. That big substantive change will be coming sometime in February, but an official date was not given. Bungie teased back in December that there would be a new raid and some new DLC coming in February, though we don’t have a great deal of info as to what that DLC might be.

The stuff the developers gave to people in January wasn’t all that impressive at all, since it was just 15 Strange Coins, 15 Motes of Light, and an Emblem. That’s hardly a ton to get worked up about, but it might be enough to wet the appetite of Destiny players until the larger update lands. Bungie has been giving people nothing but teases since they announced they would indeed be bringing even more content to the game. This isn’t exactly a new approach when it comes to making sure people are actually looking forward to the next big DLC drop for Destiny.
