PlayStation VR

Bloober Team’s Layers of Fear is one of the scarier titles to arrive this generation, even when it’s still confined to one’s screen. But what if the horror was all around you?

The development team has asked players before if they’re interested in a VR version of the game and while that decision is up in the air, GamingBolt spoke to Layers of Fear creator Rafał Basaj about PlayStation VR. Will 60 FPS be enough for VR games or should developers look at 90 FPS.

“We are glad this technology became a real thing and made such an impact on the market even before its debut. It has so much potential to show some uncanny ideas and revolutionize gaming.

“From what experience we had with VR gear we believe that 90fps does wonders, however as with all of the technology – improvements will be available with time, so 60 fps might work perfectly as well.”

Layers of Fear is out later this month for PS4, Xbox One and PC. Would you like to see it or any other game in VR? Let us know in the comments.
