Ratchet & Clank PS4

Insomniac Games’ Ratchet & Clank has gone gold for the PlayStation 4. The developer announced the same on Twitter with an image of the PS4’s disc. Development has hence finished and the game is currently out for manufacturing and distribution.

The game is less of a remaster and more of a re-imagining of the original, more in tone with the upcoming film. Insomniac has insisted that it’s a brand new game and it will include new bosses, a better control scheme, weapons which are both new and from the Ratchet & Clank Future franchise, new planes and much more. It will be in 1080p resolution but at 30 FPS, retailing for $40 and having some 10 to 12 hours of gameplay.

While the game is out on April 12th for PlayStation 4, the movie will be releasing on April 29th. Will you be checking out either? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
