Psyonix’s Rocket League will be available to all Steam users this weekend “regardless if you’ve bought it or not”, starting from 10 AM PST on April 21st. If you haven’t played Rocket League at all and are curious what the hype is about, then this is your best chance to get in on it.

Even better, if you like what you see, you can purchase Rocket League at a 40 percent discount in the meantime (offer expires on April 25th, 10 AM PST though). Current Rocket League owners can acquire the bundles and DLC for 20 percent off. The timing of the free weekend isn’t a coincidence – Rocket League‘s new basketball mode Hoops will be available on April 26th in a free update. It will even come with its own default map called Dunk House.

Rocket League has been a huge success since its introduction on the PS4 and PC back in June 2015. It’s sold 4 million units with 14 million registered users.
