Uncharted 4 Shipments Get Stolen In The UK, Release Date Unaffected

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is anticipated enough that people are willing to become literal thieves in order to play it ahead of its May 10 launch. Sony is reporting that an entire shipment of Uncharted 4 copies was stolen while in transit in what is being described as a violent assault.

“We are doing everything in our power to assist the police in their ongoing criminal investigation,” a PlayStation representative said. “To be clear, we have yet to ship any stock of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to retail and so any suggestion that UK retailers have broken the official street date is not correct.”

That said, the official release date for the game remains unaffected, they confirmed. “The official release date of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End remains May 10th.”

Man, it’s just video games. People taking to violence over something like video games is not something I can ever understand, and I do video games for a living.
