Blizzard’s Overwatch is almost here, and ahead of its release, Blizzard have released a new animated short feature, titled Dragons, directed with all the usual Blizzard panache and flair for storytelling, and tying into the story of the upcoming shooter, which you can see for yourself below.
The new short demonstrates that Blizzard have not yet lost their flair for storytelling- the new short has all the charm and wit that you expect from a Blizzard product, and it also does a rather good job at keying you into the Overwatch lore and mythos- a rather necessary task it must perform is Blizzard’s newest game, which happens to be their first shooter ever, as well as their first entirely new IP in over a decade, is to do well.
