Remember the June update for Capcom’s Street Fighter 5 that was set to add a Story Mode with proper cinematics and new character Ibuki? Said update has been delayed but not by that long. Capcom has announced that the story mode will be arriving with Ibuki on July 1st.

To make things up to fans, Capcom will be adding Balrog as an additional new character to the mix. Check out his reveal trailer below which also contains a brief look at Juri and Urien (the last two DLC characters).

Ibuki was actually set to arrive in May but Capcom clarified that she would be out in June along with Story Mode along with promising to be more communicative with fans. Even if there is some annoyance with the delay, it usually means that Capcom is taking time to polish things up which is always a good thing.

What are your thoughts on the delay of the June update to July for Street Fighter 5? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the update in the coming days.
