The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt definitely was Game of the Year (or decade, perhaps). It doesn’t exactly need a Game of the Year edition to make that point. Yet still, according to USK, the German Ratings Board, it’s all set to receive just that.
While The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Game of the Year Edition is listed on USK’s site (as tweeted by lifelower), for all three platforms CD Projekt Red is yet to comment on this development. While we’ve obviously no official confirmation about what the Game of the Year Edition will entail, we’re pretty sure its a full set of the base game, and both its expansions, Hearts of Stone, and Blood and Wine, which, incidentally are longer than The Witcher 2 when put together.
With Blood and Wine wrapping up the sumptuous set of paid (and free) DLC for the game, and with CD Projekt Red shifting gears to work on other projects including Cyberpunk 2077, this is the perfect time to release a boxed set of the game and all its accompaniments.
