Pokemon GO

Niantic’s Pokemon GO has been an unprecedented success for Nintendo and Niantic since its release but it’s had its share of issues. During a recent Pokemon GO panel at San Diego Comic Con, Niantic chief executive John Hanke took the opportunity to discuss upcoming features and some that were under consideration.

Of course, he also revealed the three leaders for the game’s teams. Check out Candela of Team Valor, Blanche of Team Mystic and Spark of Team Instinct above.

Hanke also talked about the future of trading. For the time being, servers for the game need to stabilize before trading can be introduced. Another interesting feature, that isn’t confirmed but under consideration, is Pokemon Centers. These are used in the Pokemon universe for storing your Pokemon and healing them as necessary. How would they work in Pokemon GO? That’s probably part of the consideration process.
