Pokemon Go 3

Niantic’s Pokemon GO has been downloaded an estimated 75 million times around the world according to app tracker Sensor Tower. This is roughly 35 million up from last week, which is pretty crazy when you think about it. Pokemon GO also managed to hit 50 million downloads in just 19 days.

The figure includes downloads from iOS and Android across 32 of the 100 markets that both stores are available. So theoretically, it could be even higher. The comparison between other titles like Candy Crush Saga, Slither.io and Color Switch which hit 50 million downloads over a period of days was also compared with Pokemon GO. Needless to say, Pokemon GO won out.

Despite issues – and Nintendo shares plummeting when it revealed how limited its involvement with the game was – Pokemon GO continues to grow. The various teams had gym leaders revealed and when servers stabilize, Pokemon trading will be added. What are your thoughts on its future? Let us know in the comments.
