Microsoft continue on their quest to make just about every major Xbox 360 game playable on the Xbox One via their excellent backwards compatibility functionality, which allows Xbox 360 games to be played on the current generation Xbox console.

The newest major game to be added to the list of Xbox 360 games that can be played? Treyarch’s Call of Duty: World at War, which is arguably the best World War II era Call of Duty game, as well as arguably Treyarch’s best contribution to the series (I personally feel Black Ops is better). Call of Duty: World at War‘s addition to the list of backward compatible games on Xbox One follows the addition of Call of Duty 3 just last week.

In addition to World at WarEncleverment Experiment, Funtown Mahjong, and E4: Every Extend Extra Extreme are all being added to the list of Xbox 360 games that can be played on the Xbox One as well.
