Could Valve possibly be working on Half Life: VR? An update in its Steam VR app Destinations seems to indicate as much.

As per Valve News Network, Destinations had a project called HL:VR which seemed to have assets from an experiment done in Half Life for virtual reality. The app was recently updated in September 26th and a string was discovered that had references to Half Life: VR, namely weapons and whatnot, that replaced the original strings. This seems to indicate that development is on-going or has been started.

This is all theorizing based on updates from the app but it does indicate that Valve is doing something with the franchise, even if it’s not Half Life 3 as so many people obviously want. We’ve already seen Portal make its way to VR but will Half Life? Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks to find out and let us know what you think.
