Resident Evil 7’s New Teaser Has A Mysterious, Creepy Voice

It's about a mysterious voice.

Resident Evil 7 Biohazard

After a few installments where the series increasingly moved away from the survival horror that defined it in the first place, and towards a more diluted action game focus, Resident Evil 7 looks to be a return to form and to the series’ roots. And nothing exemplifies this as well as the brand new teaser trailer for the game that Capcom just released.

The teaser is titled ‘Mysterious Voice,’ and, true to its name, shows Ethan picking up a phone and hearing a mysterious, creepy voice on the other end. What the voice is is unknown- but I think we can be reasonably confident that we’ll learn more about it in the game itself.

Resident Evil 7 will release for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on January 24th, 2017. You can check out the new trailer for the game for yourself below. Make sure to let us know what you think in the comments section.
