Diablo 3 Necromancer Artwork Leaks, BlizzCon Announcement Possible

Could a new class be coming to Diablo 3?

While Overwatch fans have been losing their collective minds over Sombra, another bit of art has caught the attention of the Diablo crowd. A file appeared on the Blizzard Store, much like Sombra’s artwork, that depicts what could be a new class for Diablo 3.

The file (whose link has since been removed) was named “necromancer” and the artwork depicts a male and female seemingly summoning a cadre of undead warriors. It’s also been credited to Blizzard’s John Mueller who serves as art director.

Given all the rumours of Diablo 4, it seems more plausible that Blizzard could announce a new expansion for Diablo 3 and bundle this new class with it. This is especially likely with how popular Diablo 3 still is after all this time.

What Diablo content do you hope to see from Blizzard in the coming days, be it a sequel or expansion? Stay tuned for BlizzCon taking place on November 4th for more information.
