Mass Effect Andromeda – No Spaceship Battles, Multiplayer, And Dialogue Tones Detailed

More granular control than what Mass Effect 3 provided players.

With information on Mass Effect Andromeda now finally being shared, we are learning more and more meaningful stuff about the game, as opposed to the banal, trite, pointless stream of teasing that we were being subjected to before then. For instance, taking to Twitter, Bioware’s Ian S Frazier recently decided to answer some fan questions, revealing more about the game in the process.

Frazier revealed that the multiplayer of Mass Effect Andromeda had been modeled on the mutiplayer in Mass Effect 3, calling Andromeda‘s multiplayer Mass Effect 3 multiplayer ‘on steroids.’ He also revealed that while the team had seriously considered putting spaceship battles into the game, they had eventually decided against it- is this going to be something that returns in a future entry?

He also discussed dialog and control over Ryder in the game, implying that Andromeda may offer more control to the player than Mass Effect 3 did. “We have five “tones” to help you define Ryder’s personality, so quite a bit of control. (tone 5 is for actions),” he said, in response to a fan’s query.

All of which sounds good to me (space battles would have been great, though). Mass Effect Andromeda will launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC in Spring 2017.
