Everyone in the gaming world, and some beyond it, is excited and eagerly awaiting the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2, Rockstar’s sequel to their 2010 western hit. People want to play the sequel to the game which is widely considered to be one of the best from the previous generation, and they also want to play Rockstar’s next magnus opus.
Which is why it’s a bit sad that the release for the game came and went and no one bought it- at least, according to Sony. In an amusing incident, Sony ended up putting up the wrong release date for Red Dead Redemption 2 on PSN, pegging it for a release over a week ago, on November 23. With no one having bought it at that date, we can assume Rockstar, the proprietors of the most successful game of all time with GTA5, are rather disappointed at the performance of this new game.
In all seriousness, though, Red Dead Redemption 2 is due out in Fall 2017; so far, only the PS4 and Xbox One have been confirmed to be getting this game, though it is highly likely that a PC verison will be announced at some point down the line.
