Final Fantasy 15 New Game Plus Update is Out Now

Find out what does and doesn't carry over.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy 15 has received its much awaited patch 1.03, which adds New Game Plus to the experience and requires a 3.2 GB download. Expect features from the Holiday pack to be available soon, thus granting new photo frames for Prompto’s pics.

New Game Plus will overwrite your old save if you choose it so go on the new journey at your own peril. As per NeoGAF, all weapons including arminger weapons, magic, magic flasks, previously unlocked skills, ascension grid unlocks, inventory, photos, recipes, fish caught, AP and Gil will carry over into New Game Plus. Even the outfits you unlock will carry over.

However, the Ultimate Blade will go back to its base state as will the Regalia. No flying around the land of Eos for you.

What do you think of New Game Plus at this point? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more updates in Final Fantasy 15, especially with Square Enix promising plenty of post-launch support.
