God of War Hits Development Milestone, Can Now Be Played Start Through End

But it had not always been this way...

I’m among the guys who are eagerly awaiting any new news on the upcoming God of War game- so the recent update by Cory Barlog, that the game has hit a development milestone, and that it can now be played in its entirety from start to end, got me really excited.

It doesn’t necessarily mean that the game is anywhere close to release- but it does mean that development on the game has proceeded far beyond the vertical slice that we were shown at E3.

God of War is currently slated to release next year, though that’s the extent to which we can guess its release window- and the game may end up missing that, too (in fact, given the track record of PlayStation first party games this generation, it almost definitely will). Hopefully, Sony Santa Monica and Cory Barlog will have something new to show for all the development progress that they are making some time soon.
