It’s been more than a decade since the last mainline Kingdom Hearts title. Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, releasing on January 12th for PS4, will further drown us in lore, HD adaptations and side-stories from the loveable universe. Kingdom Hearts 2.8 directly leads into Kingdom Hearts 3
If the name wasn’t much of an indicator, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue leads directly into the third Kingdom Hearts. While Square Enix has been a little shy on how exactly it segues into the sequel, the answer seems to lie in Aqua’s trials in the Realm of Darkness during A Fragmentary Passage.
