Destiny 2 Details Possibly Leaked Via Mega Bloks Sets – Rumour

Could Cabal be attacking the Tower?

Bungie has been incredibly tight-lipped about Destiny 2, its sequel to the highly successful shared world shooter. We’ve heard murmurs about more consistent content updates, restarts and more but the developer hasn’t been too forthcoming with details, especially regarding the story.

So it’s interesting to see what could be new information emerging via some hereto unannounced Mega Bloks sets. The listings had been on spotted on Amazon via a fan forum and revealed details of things not currently seen in Destiny.

For instance, the “Destiny Cabal Bruiser Battle Building Set” which captures a battle taking place in the Tower hangar with Lord Shaxx fighting against a Cabal Red Guard Bruiser with Raze-Lighter. Commander Zavala also apparently joins the fight as he’s portrayed in the “Cabal Goliath Tank Building Set” as having an Answering Chord auto rifle.

It should be noted that though this teases events that could happen (like the Cabal attacking the Tower, especially since they’re rumoured to be the foes in Destiny 2), it’s not guaranteed. The Mega Bloks sets feature several weapons and ships that are in the base game and could not necessarily carry over into the sequel. Take these listings with a grain of salt in the meantime.
