Final Fantasy 7 Remake Gets New Key Visual, Showcases Cloud And Sephiroth

The image was shown off at Final Fantasy's 30th anniversary event.

While we were all hoping that Final Fantasy 7 was going to launch in 2016, we also all knew that wasn’t very likely. At the very least, we are getting some more looks at the game as Square Enix continues its work on the upcoming project.

At the recent Final Fantasy 30th anniversary event, the company showed off a brand new image that certainly makes the game look very, very good. Obviously, there isn’t a ton to be told from the one picture but we do see both Cloud and Sephiroth in what appears to be a rather impressive city.

The two characters are standing with their backs to one another which is usually seen as being a sign the two characters are at odds with one another. Of course, since this is a remake of an existing title, we know that some of what goes down is the same as what we’ve already seen.
