Xbox Live Games With Gold In April Include Ryse: Son of Rome, The Walking Dead, Assassin’s Creed, and Darksiders

What a damn amazing month.

April will probably be the very best month that Microsoft’s Games With Gold service has had yet- the games for this month will include four rather good titles, across Xbox 360 and Xbox One both- which means that subscribers will be getting some real bang for their buck here.

Over on the Xbox One, the two headlining titles include Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 2, and Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome. While the latter particularly was panned upon release, it is the kind of game that most people would be all to happy to give a shot themselves if they didn’t have to actually pay for it- which makes it a perfect fit here.

On the Xbox 360 end (with these games, of course, being playable on Xbox One, too), you’ll have Assassin’s Creed Revelations (one of the weaker games in the series, but still not a bad title at all), and Darksiders (an excellent Zelda like game, that I do think is the best of the titles on offer this month).
