Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 received a free new content update yesterday which brings a new weapon, the R101 Carbine from the first game, and a new map Colony, another map from the original remade for the sequel. If you’re wondering whether Titanfall 2 is worth getting into, then you can take part in the free weekend currently live for all platforms.

This free weekend will provide access to all multiplayer modes, the Training Gauntlet and “The Beacon” mission from single-player. The good news is that the Gauntlet and single-player mission will be free even after the multiplayer trial ends on April 3rd.

The new Colony update includes more than just a new weapon and map – it also brings new Prime skins for Legion and Northstar, a new Curb Check execution, some cosmetic items and much more. What are your thoughts on all the new content? Let us know in the comments below.
