Bungie’s Destiny 2 may have been somewhat of a mixed bag (at least among some of the hardcore in the community) but there’s still plenty of excitement surrounding the game. A new video from IGN First has showcased what players can expect when exploring the open Patrol zones like Nessus. Check it out below.

The Nessus Patrol zone features tons of activities to complete. Public Events have made a comeback and now have Heroic versions. You can complete additional objectives, fight more enemies or even face bosses to gain more rewards. Adventures act as something like mini-quests and you can seamlessly transition between these and Patrol missions without any loading screens. Lost Sectors are detailed further including how to get into the one that takes place before the Inverted Spire Strike.

Along with unlocking more landing zones, players can also complete World Quests which are multi-part quests that offer more information about the world in question. Flashpoints have also been detailed and can reward seemingly high-level gear for their completion. Finally, you can go to Cayde-6 every week for treasure maps for destinations featured in Flashpoints.

Destiny 2 releases on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4 while the PC arrives on October 24th.
