Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus Gets An… Interesting New Trailer

Doubling down on that faithfulness to the game's setting.

The thing about Wolfenstein: The New Order that never got as much recognition as it should have was its unique sense of style. The game was set in an alternate timeline where the Nazis won, and much like Bethesda’s Fallout series, it went nuts with the setting to recreate an authentic period feel.

Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus is doubling down on that, with its own unique sense of flair and style. That sense of style and emphasis on setting was the center of the game’s debut at E3 last month- and it also is the emphasis of this new trailer for the game, titled ‘Strawberry Milkshake’ (you won’t get it unless you watch the trailer).

This authenticity of a fictional setting is making me as excited for this game as its promise of building up on the original’s fantastic gunplay is. Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus launches on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 27.
