Destiny 2 New Trailer Shows PC Beta Running At 4K and 60FPS

Proving why the PC version will be the best one once and for all.

Destiny 2 Coldheart

Today, NVIDIA and Activision released a brand new trailer in association for the beta of the PC version of Destiny 2 (that’s a hugely specific sentence with a whole lot of qualifiers). The new trailer showcases the game running in glorious 4K resolution, and at a blistering 60 frames per second- meaning this is far beyond anything any console on the market can do.

The PC beta of the game will end up supporting not just 4K resolution and uncapped framerates, but also 21:9 monitor support, and a full range of full fledged, adjustable graphics settings. The content of the beta seems to be similar to the beta that was held on consoles a while ago.

Destiny 2 is due out this September for the PS4 and Xbox One. A PC version of the game will follow in October, a little over a month later. It will also end up making history by becoming the first non Blizzard game to be supported on Battle.net.
