Destiny 2 European Dead Zone Trailer Highlights New Vendor, Open World Activities

There's plenty to discover - and shoot - in Destiny 2's new area.

In the wake of numerous gameplay videos being leaked for the same, Bungie has released an official gameplay video for Destiny 2’s new-ish area – the European Dead Zone, teased in Destiny’s Widow’s Court PvP map and now the focus of activity on Earth.

Players will meet a new NPC named Devrim Kay who’s busy taking shots at the Fallen and Cabal whenever he can. As players progress through the zone, they’ll find various resources and tokens that can be turned into Kay who will redeem them for Loot. Ranking up your Reputation will grant you free loot drops from Kay as well.

The rest of the zone is full of your usual open world content and we get to see the new Patrol missions, Lost Sectors and Adventures in action. Despite looking fairly straight-forward – and pretty much the standard open world checklist content that we’ve seen for years – it looks like a big step up from the original Destiny.

Destiny 2 is out on September 6th for Xbox One and PS4 with the PC version releasing on October 24th.
