Overwatch

Blizzard Entertainment’s Overwatch currently has a new map available on its Public Test Realm taking place in Junkertown, the home turf (or former home turf) of heroes Junkrat and Roadhog. We’ve learned a lot about the map, including that it’s run by the unseen Queen. However, we’ll be learning even more thanks to an upcoming comic from the developer.

Overwatch KR on Twitter has a few images for the next issue which sees DPS/tank Roadhog happening upon a few people trying to steal…something. When does Junkrat make his appearance? Time will tell but perhaps this comic explores how the two meet and begin their wonderful friendship.

Junkertown currently doesn’t have a release date for the live version of the game. It will likely also release with changes to heroes like Mercy and D.Va, both of which are being balanced to account for the former’s changed Ultimate and the latter’s nerfed Defense Matrix. Stay tuned for more information in the coming weeks.
