PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

In the midst of its crazy popularity, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to receive updates. The latest one will be coming in next week’s update and thankfully, you won’t have to go through crates to find it. It’s called the Mini-14, a DRM, and it can be found as a drop throughout the map. Check it out below courtesy a tweet from the developer.

Along with the Mini-14, the update will also add first person perspective leaderboards so you can finally find out how you rank in the mode. Foggy weather will also be added to the map to further spice things up. Though the update goes live next week, it will actually be available on the test server the initial days. Full patch notes should be provided in that time only.

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has beaten out Valve’s Dota 2 as the most played game on Steam and creator Brendan Greene has talked about possibly competing with League of Legends next. It will also be coming to Xbox One later this year via Game Preview.
