Arc System Works’ Dragon Ball FighterZ has a release date at last – it will be releasing for PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 1st 2018 in Japan as per the latest issue of V-Jump (via Gematsu). Its release dates in North America and Europe are still early 2018 and February 2018 respectively so expect it to release in the first quarter of next year worldwide.

Two more characters join the roster with Nappa – who can use Saibamen and a Meteor attack – and Captain Ginyu – who can summon the Ginyu Force and even switch HP with his opponent using the Body Change technique. As for the Story Mode, it’s been revealed that Earth’s warriors have fallen. The player will control different characters throughout, starting from Goku to Android 18 and even Frieza.

This will apparently lead to private conversations if the players bonds with the characters are strong enough. If that sounds weird, don’t worry. You can still engage in free combat, earn experience points and skills, save allies and do much more while progressing on the game map.
