Star Wars Battlefront 2 Has Gone Gold

Plus, some more information leaks via datamining.

EA and DICE’s Star Wars Battlefront 2, the sequel to the hit multiplayer action Star Wars game from 2015 (which in turn was a reboot of the classic Pandemic franchise) has now gone gold. In simple parlance, this means that development on the game is now complete, and the master code has been sent out to be pressed on to discs.

Along with this information comes some totally unrelated stuff, too. WCCFTech is reporting that datamining the game’s files seems to hint at a space map for the game, called Kamino- albeit it is unclear what kind of map this will be, and we can only guess. All we know right now is that there is a game file for a Kamino map.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 will be launching on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC next month, on November 17. It has been worked on by DICE, EA Motive, and Criterion Games.
