Destiny 2 Leviathan

The PC version of Bungie’s Destiny 2 launched last week and it received some fairly positive criticism, especially for the improved graphics and optimization. Just like with the console releases, Bungie released the Leviathan raid a week later and it finally went live last night on PC.

The Leviathan raid is Destiny 2’s first raid and sees players taking on the trials of Emperor Calus, the exiled Cabal emperor with a golden palace on top of the world-eating ship. Though there is a direct boss fight at the end, the raid is more mechanic-heavy and focuses on communication and coordination above all else. Suffice to say, the response has been somewhat mixed as many players preferred the raids from Destiny 1.

Challenges are currently live for Destiny 2 on Xbox One and PS4 with this week’s being the Royal Pools. Next week will offer a different challenge and successfully completing each will confer a special emblem to players. Destiny 2 PC players can look forward to Trials of the Nine on November 3rd and Leviathan Prestige mode on November 7th.
