Activision recently launched Call of Duty: WW2, and unlike the past couple  ofyears, reception of the game among the masses has been largely positive, which is reflected in its incredible opening sales. Naturally, the game’s online servers have been seeing a lot of traffic, and as such, issues have been cropping up, as anyone might have expected. Developers Sledgehammer, however, have been working on these issues as well.

The studio’s official Twitter page recently posted an update, confirming that tests for the game’s dedicated servers will be running throughout the weekend, until which time the game will be running on P2P. The studio stated that it wants to go shift back to dedicated servers at the earliest, and as such they’re working towards that.

In another post, Sledgehammer was asked an update on the game’s PC version, and they confirmed that they were waiting for the PC Title Update to be ready first. The developer confirmed that more info will be coming in soon on the same.

Call of Duty: WW2 is out right now for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. If you’re unsure of whether you want to give the game a try, you should try reading our review. While disappointed with the derivative campaign, we were quite pleased with the wealth of content on offer and the great online multiplayer component.
