Warframe’s Plains of Eidolon will be receiving a very important update soon that should make Bounties more rewarding for players. Coinciding with the launch of Operation: Plague Star, a limited time event with special rewards, Bounties will now grant rewards based on the developer’s current AABC rotation used in Endless missions.
This means that for, say, a five stage bounty, players will have a chance at Common items in the first stage. The second and third stages can yield Common or Uncommon items while the fourth and fifth stages can grant Common, Uncommon and Rare items. Each stage will give you a reward though which is a big-step up from how Bounties worked at launched.
Community manager Rebecca Ford also noted that, “We have slightly re-balanced the quantities of some of the rewards as we tested numerous Bounties with these changes. Right now this only applies to select items. Plains of Eidolon specific reward quantities are untouched (i.e it could be possible to get 25 x Breath of the Eidolon in a single 5 Stage Bounty or 6 Cetus Wisps in a 5 Stage Bounty).”
Though there may not be a ton in store for end-game players, it’s still a nice way to earn Kuva and Oxium along with the new mod sets (despite how awful some of them may be). Plains of Eidolon is also available to PS4 and Xbox One players though more information on the release of Operation: Plague Star for console owners is still to come.
