Destiny 2 Clarion Call Begins Tonight, Offers Double XP to Clan Mates

Play with a fellow clan mate and reap double the usual XP (despite Bungie's invisible restrictions).

Destiny 2 (6)

Bungie’s Destiny 2 players will have the chance to earn double XP this weekend thanks to the first ever Clarion Call that the series has seen. From November 17th, 10 AM PT to November 20th, 10 AM PT you’ll have a chance to garner double the usual experience points from every activity.

There’s a catch though – you need to play alongside a clan mate in the same fire team. The basic incentive is to get players to join a clan. Which is all well and good because clan rewards are pretty fantastic but this does feel like solo players are being left in the dust. Thankfully, Bungie has acknowledged that future Clarion Calls will allow you to earn double XP without a clan. How noble.

Once the double XP weekend has wrapped up, players will also be able to partake in the second Iron Banner which returns on November 21st. This will be the final Iron Banner of the season and offers a chance for players to earn an exclusive emblem among event-exclusive armour and guns.
