Sea of Thieves New Trailer Shows Off Drunken Pirates

A bottle of rum.

The biggest and mot exciting upcoming exclusive for the Xbox One is not Halo, Gears, or Crackdown, it is Sea of Thieves, Rare’s charming looking shared world pirate action game that was originally supposed to launch this year before it was pushed into early next year.

On the other hand, while we might not have gotten the game, we have gotten a technical closed alpha test for the game, and what feels like one new trailer or video for it a day- so, you know, we haven’t been left wanting for Sea of Thieves is what I am saying.

The newest video for the game, which you can see for yourself below, is in glorious 4K, and it shows us drunken pirates- which shouldn’t be scandalous, they’re pirates, they’re bound to get drunk. Still, there’s something funny about seeing cartoon pirates act as sloppily as they do in this video.

Sea of Thieves is due out on Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs next year.
