Nintendo is giving away five tickets to the upcoming Game Awards show in a sweepstakes, they announced on their Twitter today. To enter, all you have to do is retweet their tweet- we’ve embedded it below, so it’s actually pretty easy for you to do.

The interesting thing here is why Nintendo is giving away these tickets- The Game Awards is, apart from being an awards show, also a platform where major industry announcements are made regarding upcoming games. Why is Nintendo so keen on having people watch this show? Could they be gearing up to announce something at the event? They certainly have a history of doing so, as the world debut of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild gameplay footage was actually made at the event.

So- what might they announce this time? Zelda‘s DLC? Retro’s new IP? Pokemon? Smash Bros.? Metroid Prime 4? Who knows? Maybe they announce nothing. They’ve done weirder stuff before, after all. We’ll find out in a week, one way or the other.
