Capcom’s Monster Hunter World will be one of the more enticing releases of the New Year, bringing the franchise to a good number of Xbox One, PS4 and PC players for the first time. With a release date of January 26th 2018 for Xbox One and PS4, let’s take a look at some of the things you should know before picking up Monster Hunter World.

Squads

Much like guilds in traditional MMOs, Monster Hunter World will allow players to join Squads. These are groups for up to 50 people complete with a gathering hub. It’s possible to customize said squad with an icon and name but you can also join up to eight Squads in total. This will ensure that someone is always available for embarking on a hunt.
