Capcom’s Monster Hunter World has earned its fair share of hype since being announced. With a release on Xbox One and PS4 taking place this month, the company has been tight-lipped on when the PC version could release. In a recent tweet from producer Ryozo Tsujimoto, it was announced that Monster Hunter World would be arriving for PC in Autumn this year.
Even more interesting is how Tsujimoto says the team is aiming for an Autumn 2018 release. That means there’s a chance of a release date further down the line. That being said, he reiterated that free updates including new monsters would be coming to the game on consoles after launch so there’s plenty to look forward to. If you really wanted to play on PC though, you’ll have to wait.
Monster Hunter World arrives on January 26th 2018 for PS4 and Xbox One. Unlike previous Monster Hunter titles, this will take place in a seamless world with a strong single-player component to complement co-op play. What are your thoughts on the PC release window? Let us know below.
