Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Releasing on April 3rd, Special Editions Revealed

DLC packs and pre-order bonuses, including Beakhead the hawk as a pet, revealed.

Obsidian Entertainment has announced that the highly anticipated Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire will be releasing on April 3rd for PC. it will be available through Steam, the Humble Store and GOG for the standard price of $49.99.

Along with the standard edition are the Deluxe and Obsidian Edition, the latter two both available in physical versions. The Deluxe Edition retails for $59.99 features the official OST, an in-game pet named Beakhead, a high resolution game map, volume 2 of Dark Horse’s digital guide book and a digital pen and paper RPG starter guide.

The Obsidian Edition, retailing for $74.99, includes all of the above with access to three future DLC packs (which will be available standalone for $9.99 each). Those purchasing the physical versions will receive a cloth map of the Deadfire region, a set of postcards and an Explorer’s notepad.

Those who pre-order the game will still receive a few cool items like St. Drogga’s Skull which slices and burns foes; the aforementioned Beakhead; and The Black Flag which makes for a good decoration for one’s ship.
