The Evil Within 2 Receives Free First Person Mode Update

Experience the entire horror-filled game as a first person shooter.

Tango Gameworks has released an interesting new update for The Evil Within 2. It allows players to experience the entire game in first person mode. The update is currently live for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. Simply check the box for first person mode in the Options menu, which can be changed later if necessary.

The free update also applies to the trial for The Evil Within 2 so you can now play the first few chapters in first person as well. In terms of replayability, this should literally give players a brand new perspective on the game’s events. Gameplay-wise, it definitely looks a lot scarier.

Released on October 13th 2017, The Evil Within 2 received fairly good reviews but didn’t really notch up a ton of sales. The game follows Sebastian as he discovers his daughter Lily to be alive in a new STEM world called Union. He’ll have to infiltrate the world and save his daughter from a new batch of horrors (and a few old ones).
