Fortnite Battle Royale

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds might be the more popular title, but Epic Games continues to update Fortnite in the hopes of staying in lockstep within the Battle Royale genre. Update 2.5.0 is now available for all users. It’s a very large update with a huge list of patch notes, many of which will only mean anything to the most hardcore players.

Those players can find the full notes below, but the highlight of the patch is easily the visual improvements. Dynamic resolution has been enabled on consoles, which should help the frame rate remain stable, and Xbox One X players can now enjoy the game in full, glorious 4K on the most powerful console ever.

While it hasn’t recorded the gargantuan numbers of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, Fortnite did manage to hit a very respectable 3.4 million players on February 4th. If you’re going to jump into the game, Epic Games recently announced that the Season 3 Battle Pass is only available with in game V-Bucks. You can find some of the patch notes below. The full list can be read here.
