Fortnite Battle Royale

With Season 3 fast approaching for Fortnite, Epic Games has announced that the next Battle Pass won’t be available for real money. Instead, you’ll need to spend V-Bucks, the in-game currency, to earn it. The Battle Pass will retail for 950 V-Bucks.

Though V-Bucks can be purchased with real money ($10 nets you 1,000 V-Bucks), they can also be earned by completing daily log-in challenges and Storm Shield Defense missions in the PvE mode Save the World. There’s also a daily login reward which can be V-Bucks, weekly quests, and so on. It’s not hard to average something like 50 V-Bucks per day.

Till now, the currency has been used to purchase various cosmetics from the in-game store. Even if there’s a fair bit of grinding involved, this does give an in-game option for players to earn the Battle Pass. Those who don’t want to grind can still put down real money for buying V-Bucks and then buying the pass.
