Hokuto Ga Gotoku: fist of the north star

Sega has released three new videos for Hokuto Ga Gotoku, the PS4 exclusive based on the popular manga and anime Fist of the North Star. We had recently reported on the first gameplay footage of the game that was revealed but these new trailers focus on the combat in the game and it looks pretty great.

The game will mix the story and setting of the manga and anime with the gameplay style of the popular Yakuza series. As you can see in these new trailers, the combat is certainly very familiar to what we’ve seen in the Yakuza games. The new trailers focus on the beginner level, intermediate level, and expert level respectively.

While the game was originally set to release in Japan on February 22, the release date was delayed to March 8. As of now, no Western release date has been announced, so we’ll have to wait for more information on that. You can check out the new trailers below.
